A Guide to retrieving Data…

The domain name info is basically a generic top level domain within the Domain Name System of the Internet. Registration requirements don’t prescribe a specific intent, but the name itself is largely derived from info. This domain is also a sub-name to the term info, which is often used to refer to Internet resources (like e-mail, newsgroups, Usenet, etc). Domain names are sometimes used as names for Internet addresses, as in e-mail addresses, but usually are used to describe online information. Info might also be a synonym for info, in which case the domain name info would be a sub-name for the term info.

The domain name info comes from the National Inventory Data Base (NIDB), which is an archive of data on global quantities of nearly every element on Earth. It is accessible to scientists and researchers, but not to the general public. NIDB data can be retrieved by requesting it from the US EIA. The US EIA was established by the Energy Information Administration (EIA), a government agency of the United States. It maintains a list of web sites that provide data on global quantities of virtually all substances considered for trade.

Data on Global Greenhouse Gases (GHG), which are believed to cause obesity, are also listed by the EIA. These facts may be retrieved by accessing the EIA website, or accessing data from agencies linked to the National Inventory data base, including the NOAA and NASA. The Energy Data Program offers a lot of information on global issues; you may access it through its Web site. Amongst other data on world petroleum resources and related subjects, the Web site provides data on the world’s proven reserves of oil and natural gas, current production, consumption, and climate change. The EIA publishes a monthly report on world petroleum production, current oil reserves, and world consumption. Other data on petroleum, including production, inventories, and rates of growth in petroleum resources, may also be obtained from these sources.
